Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an In-Home, Associate Veterinarian to serve Plymouth, MA and surrounding areas. This role focuses on hospice and euthanasia care delivered in clients’ homes, offering a balanced and meaningful veterinary career outside traditional clinics.

As a mobile practice, you’ll work with support from mentors and a community of over 400 veterinarians and staff, enjoying onboarding, ongoing mentorship, and a wellness-focused culture that values personal well-being

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license is required.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets in in-home settings.

• Veterinarian Salary Range – 3‑day, 4‑day, and 5‑day full‑time opportunities are available in the Plymouth, MA area. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4‑day positions starting at $107,500 and 5‑day positions offering a base salary of $130,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3‑Day Full‑Time and Part‑time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post‑hire and before their associated start date
