Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an in-home Associate Veterinarian to serve Los Angeles, CA and surrounding areas, focusing on hospice and euthanasia care with flexible scheduling that respects your life balance.

As part of a nationwide network, you will receive ongoing mentorship, comprehensive onboarding, and access to our support team, with a base salary and bonus opportunities designed to reward compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) required.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Background and motor vehicle record check required.

• Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in the Los Angeles, CA area. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $135,000 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $150,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)


• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license


• Availability to work some weekends


• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance


• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date
