Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an in-home Associate Veterinarian to serve Trenton, NJ and surrounding areas. This role emphasizes compassionate hospice and euthanasia care delivered in clients' homes, with minimal in-clinic time and flexible schedules.

You'll join a nationwide network of veterinarians, receive mentorship, ongoing training, and a supportive practice management team while maintaining work-life balance.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS required.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Background and motor vehicle record check post-hire and before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
• Deliver compassionate veterinary care in clients' homes.
• Collaborate with Lap of Love team and practice managers.
• Document visits and coordinate scheduling and care plans.

• Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in the Trenton, NJ area. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $117,500 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $140,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule
