Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic, experienced Full Time Maintenance Engineer to join our team at the AC Hotel Phoenix Biltmore, located at 2811 E Camelback Rd. This role supports property maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, and grounds.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in hotel maintenance, HVAC/plumbing/electrical/commercial carpentry knowledge, and the ability to respond quickly to work orders.

Qualifications

• Minimum two to three years in hotel maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry.
• One year college or trade school in mechanical, electrical or technical disciplines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms.
• Conducts preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations.
• Paints, replaces electrical accessories, maintains HVAC.
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain spare parts and bulbs.
• Responds to maintenance orders promptly.
• Fulfills work orders in a timely manner.
• Completed daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of three (2) years in a hotel maintenance position preferred
• Preferred but not necessary, one (1) year of college or trade school equivalent in a mechanical, electrical, and/or technical disciplines
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Basic math skills
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
• Excellent time management skills
