Join to apply for the Full Time - Host - Ole Red Nashville role at Ryman Hospitality Properties.

Meet, greet, and seat guests with a positive, friendly, helpful attitude, providing exceptional service to all. Serve as a general source of information to all guests entering the restaurant, bar, and entertainment destination. Work with a team to ensure every guest has a memorable experience.

Pay starting at $16.50/hour + Free Parking

Responsibilities:
  • Greet all guests promptly and courteously in a professional manner.
  • Control flow of guests coming into the restaurant and those waiting for a table. Direct guests to appropriate locations to wait when needed. Estimate and quote accurate wait times for tables.
  • Seat guests efficiently to maximize service and operational performance.
  • Show guests to tables, place menus, and wait for guests to be seated before leaving the table.
  • Answer phones and input reservations into OpenTable, collecting relevant guest information.
  • Thank each guest for visiting and invite their return in a friendly manner. Communicate guest concerns to management.
  • Coordinate with hosts, kitchen, and venue leadership regarding logistics such as wait times, large parties, and special events.
  • Attend pre-shift meetings and perform opening, running, and closing duties.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation during and after shift, following health regulations.
  • Follow all company policies, safety, and security procedures; report incidents and unsafe conditions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in restaurant operations.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with tact and diplomacy.
  • State Food Handler Safety Card required upon hire.
