Doctors Hospital of Augusta, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The role focuses on improving patient mobility and independence through personalized care, with strong teamwork and supervision from PTs.

Qualifications

• Must hold PTA license or be a PTA program graduate eligible for Georgia licensure.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Associate Degree required.

Responsabilités

• Delivering therapeutic exercises and functional training to help patients regain independence and mobility.
• Applying physical therapy techniques and modalities to reduce pain and restore function.
• Monitoring patient progress and documenting responses to ensure safe, effective care.
• Teaching patients and families how to use assistive devices and follow home exercise programs.
• Collaborating with PTs, nurses, aides, and the care team to enhance the patient experience.
