Job summary

St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Virginia is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team.

Under supervision, you will evaluate, plan, direct and administer occupational therapy to restore function and prevent disability after injury or disease. You will work with physicians, OTR/L and support staff to deliver care, participate in infection control and CQI activities, and help ensure accurate patient charges while supporting department budgets.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a School of Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
• NBCOT certification required.
• WV license or temporary license with BLS current.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, direct and administer occupational therapy as prescribed by a physician.
• Coordinate with physicians, OTR/L and staff to deliver OT services.
• Maintain infection control, safety programs and CQI activities; monitor department budget; ensure accurate patient charges.
