Responsibilities

• Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.
• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses dishwashing machine as assigned; ensures cleanliness and sanitation.
• Washes pots, pans and trays and maintains cleanliness.
• Polishes silver using available equipment; ensures sanitation.
• Keeps dish area in compliance with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to maintain sanitation and safety.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and handles disposal per procedures.
