Xanitos, Inc., a hospital service provider, is hiring Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers for Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. The role supports cleaning and upkeep across patient care areas with daily responsibilities including room cleaning, trash transport, and supply replenishment.

Positions are full-time with multiple shifts and a $500 sign-on bonus. Vaccination is required unless exempt, and post-offer medical/background checks apply.

Qualifications

• COVID-19 vaccination is required unless exempted by medical or religious reasons.
• Experience in the janitorial industry is a plus.
• Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
• Post-offer medical, background screening and drug test required.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and other areas.
• Sweeps and vacuums floors.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, doors, and sills.
• Empties trash and transports to disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment between departments.

Xanitos is hiring Full-Time and Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers for all shifts at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN.

Job Overview:

The Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers may work in any location on client premises. This individual cleans and keeps in an orderly condition facilities or locations in a health care campus. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Xanitos may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities, client requirements and applicable industry standards.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.

• Replenishes bathroom supplies.

Job Qualifications:

• Successful applicants for this position must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment unless they request and are granted a medical or religious exemption.
• Experience in the janitorial industry a plus
• Medical cleaning a plus
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required.
