Xanitos, Inc. is hiring 1st and 2nd Shift Hospital Floor Techs at Salem Regional Medical Center in Salem, OH. This position cleans and maintains healthcare facilities, supports patient safety, and adheres to facility standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, previous janitorial or floor technician experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Base pay is $16.00/hour with a $1.50 shift differential for 2nd shift; rotating weekends/holidays are required.

Qualifications

Experience in the janitorial industry is a plus.
Previous experience as a Floor Technician or related role preferred.
Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques preferred.
Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.
High school diploma or GED; or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

Cleans and keeps facilities on client premises in orderly condition.
Monitors assigned areas for spills, debris, and cleanliness.
Dust mops floors and uses cleaning chemicals or machines as directed.
Operate floor machines for project work when assigned.

- 1st 6:30a - 3:00p
- 2nd 3:00p - 11:30p

Job Overview:

Floor Techs may work in any location on client premises. This individual cleans and keeps in an orderly condition facilities or locations in a health care campus. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Xanitos may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities, client requirements and applicable industry standards.

Daily Responsibilities:

Monitors assigned areas and corridors for cups, Spills, paper and debris.
Cleans all corners, edges and baseboards in the assigned areas.
Dust mop all the hard floor areas, cleaning behind doors and moving objects in the floor area that are movable.
Remove all marks/scuffs on the floor.
Damp mop floors with the proper assigned cleaning chemical or use scrubbing machine.

Project Work:

Utilizes floor machines for project work as assigned.
Burnishes floors using a high-speed floor machine as directed.
Scrubs floors and strips floors as needed or assigned.
May perform "Area Cleaner" job duties.
May perform "Waste Disposal Technician" job duties.
Performs related work as required.

Job Qualifications:
