Job summary

The Mather in Evanston, Illinois is seeking a full-time Housekeeping Floater to support cleanliness and hospitality across resident apartments, Life Centre, laundry areas, and public spaces. The role requires flexibility to cover where needed and interact with residents and staff in a high-standard wellness environment. This hourly position runs Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.

to 4:00 p.m. with occasional weekend coverage; pay ranges from $19.75 to $21 per hour, and eligible team members may participate

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow instructions to complete routine tasks and communicate in a friendly, responsive manner.

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks to maintain cleanliness and safety of resident rooms, homes, and common areas.
• Sanitizes, vacuums, dusts, and maintains a stocked housekeeping cart and closet.
• Coordinates daily housekeeping with management and supports laundry services.
• Operates cleaning equipment (mechanical/electrical) safely and efficiently.
• Changes bed linens and reports maintenance or supply issues as needed.
