Job summary

Tenderly Hospice in Portland is seeking a reliable Hospice Nursing Assistant-CNA to join our compassionate team providing care in the community. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience and be licensed in the state.

You will provide tender bedside care, build strong relationships with patients and team members, and uphold our mission of heartfelt service. The role is part-time with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

Job description

Our growing team is seeking a reliable Hospice Nursing Assistant- CNA with excellent people skills to join our growing tenderhearted team of hospice clinicians in providing hospice care to the Portland community. We are looking for a CNA to support our team who can provide a tender bedside care experience to the patients during their visits.

As a locally-owned hospice agency, we aim to offer a hospice service done the right way with our tender hearts.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nurse Assistant licensed by the state with a minimum of 1 year experience in home health, skilled nursing facility, memory care unit or hospice. (AL/Memory Care Unit/SNF or HOSPICE EXPERIENCE PREFERRED)
• Ability to build trusting relationships not only with the patient but with all the care team members involved in care
• Should be skillful in organization and in the principles of time management and have knowledge of basic CNA skills
• The ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing.
• Must have the ability to demonstrate self-confidence and positive attitude toward self and others and maintain commitment and enthusiasm to goal achievement.
• Must be able to represent Tenderly Hospice’s Tenderhearted Principles, Mission and Vision.
