Job summary

AdvisaCare, a growing home health care agency, seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our home health team in Wayne County, Michigan. You will provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, helping them achieve optimal health, independence, and quality of life.

The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and committed to delivering patient-centered care, with the ability to travel within the service area and work independently while supporting a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN license is required.
• Minimum one year of Home Health nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
• TB test and CPR certification updated.
• Clear Criminal History/Drug Screen.
• Valid driver's license with reliable vehicle and proof of auto insurance.
• Willingness to travel within Wayne County.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes.
• Assess patient needs and develop care plans.
• Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and family members.
• Document care provided accurately in patient records.
• Ensure patient safety and infection control.
• Travel within Wayne County service area.

Wayne County and Surrounding Area

• Current Michigan Registered Nurse (RN)
• Minimum one (1) year of Home Health nursing experience/ preferred NOT REQUIRED
• Strong clinical & communication skills
• Updated Tuberculin (TB) test and current CPR certification required
• Clear Criminal History/Drug Screen
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Ability to travel within service area of AdvisaCare
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of patient
