Episcopal Homes in St. Paul, MN, is hiring a Home Health Aide (HHA) for Willows Memory Care Community. The role provides compassionate personal care and delegated nursing services to residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care on a full-time day shift.

Wage is $19.00-$21.50 per hour, DOE. Schedule is FT AM shift (6am-2:45pm), 0.8FTE. Responsibilities include care tasks, medication reminders, meal support, vital sign recording, and dementia care techniques.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• At least 18 years old.
• Commitment to working every other weekend and scheduled holidays.
• Preferred: Minnesota CNA/TMA/HHA/PCA certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care (dressing, grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, hygiene care).
• Provide toileting assistance and incontinence care.
• Support ambulation, transfers, and repositioning with safe body mechanics.
• Assist with hearing aids, glasses, and sensory devices.
• Provide medication reminders or administration as delegated by an RN.
• Assist with blood glucose monitoring and insulin injections as delegated by RN.
• Prepare meals per dietary plans and provide feeding support.
• Record and report vital signs and resident concerns promptly.
• Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities.
• Use dementia care techniques (validation, redirection).
• Assist with treatments as delegated by RNs or licensed therapists.
• Maintain household cleanliness (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, laundry).
• Ensure proper organization and stocking of medical and household supplies.
