Zusammenfassung

The Bristal Assisted Living in New Jersey is seeking compassionate Resident Service Assistants/Home Health Aides to provide hands-on care for our residents. You will be a friendly, familiar face who enhances daily living through respectful interactions and dedicated support.

Shifts include full-time schedules with a weekend requirement (one weekend per week). Candidates should have CNA/PCP/HHA credentials, experience with Alzheimer's/dementia a plus, and strong English skills to engage residents

Qualifikationen

Certified Nursing Assistant or equivalent (CNA/PCP/HHA)
Experience with Alzheimer's/dementia is a plus
English reading and speaking required
Geriatric care experience preferred, including ADLs
Ability to follow instructions and establish routines
Understanding of dementia; patient and professional approach
Ability to adapt to different personalities and situations
Reliable, caring and calm demeanor at all times
Respect for elderly and maintaining composure

Aufgaben

Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
Escort residents to meals and activities
Support residents in physical, emotional and psycho-social wellbeing
Assist in Wellness area to ensure safety and comfort
Follow policies and directions from Nurse Supervisor/Director of Wellness
