Job summary

CaroMont Health, serving the Charlotte metro area, is seeking a full-time Pathologist (AP/CP) with Hematopathology fellowship training to join a five-pathologist team. The ideal candidate will be board-certified in pathology and demonstrate excellent communication with clinicians, admins, and laboratory staff.

Responsibilities include general surgical pathology and cytology with active tumor-board participation. Autopsy cases are rare; call is shared 1:5 weekdays and 1:5 weekends.

Qualifications

• Board-certified pathologist with Hematopathology fellowship training.
• Excellent communication with clinicians, administrators and laboratory staff.
• Strong diagnostic skills in General Surgical Pathology and Cytology (GYN and Non-GYN).

CaroMont Health is seeking a full-time BC, AP/CP, Hematopathology Fellowship trained Pathologist to join our outstanding Pathology group. This established, high-performing team currently includes 5 Pathologists and 2 Pathology Assistants dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care to a diverse population.

Position Highlights

• Diagnostic readings of General Surgical Pathology and Cytology cases (both GYN and Non-GYN)
• Participation in multidisciplinary Tumor Boards
• Rare Hospital Autopsies (currently 1 - 2 Autopsies/Pathologist/Year)
• All Pathologists will share 1:5 weekday and 1:5 weekend call coverage responsibilities.
• Practice in a modern, well-equipped facility with access to CaroMont’s extensive resources and network.
