Job summary

CaroMont Health, serving the Charlotte metro area, is seeking a full-time Pathologist (AP/CP) with Hematopathology fellowship training to join a five-pathologist team. The ideal candidate will be board-certified in pathology and demonstrate excellent communication with clinicians, admins, and laboratory staff.

Responsibilities include general surgical pathology and cytology with active tumor-board participation. Autopsy cases are rare; call is shared 1:5 weekdays and 1:5 weekends.

Qualifications

• Board-certified pathologist with Hematopathology fellowship training.
• Excellent communication with clinicians, administrators and laboratory staff.
• Strong diagnostic skills in General Surgical Pathology and Cytology (GYN and Non-GYN).

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic readings of General Surgical Pathology and Cytology cases (GYN and Non-GYN).
• Participation in multidisciplinary Tumor Boards.
• Rare Hospital Autopsies (1–2 autopsies per pathologist per year).
• 1:5 weekday and 1:5 weekend call coverage.
