Morrison Healthcare at Grace Ridge Retirement Community in Morganton, NC is hiring full-time COOK positions. Schedule is 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm; weekends and holidays included. Pay range is $15.00 to $18.00 per hour, with 3 years of cooking experience preferred.

As a Cook you will prepare meals, follow standardized recipes, maintain high food quality and safety standards, and work closely with the team to nourish residents and staff. The role requires adherence to HACCP and cleanliness guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow standardized recipes and serve meals safely.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning and ensuring proper serving temperatures.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
• Maintains clean and organized kitchen and adheres to safety standards including HACCP.
