Essential Functions:

Assisted Self Check Out

• Monitor and assist customers at multiple self-checkout registers.
• Interact proactively with customers to recommend products and services.
• Greet, assist, and engage with customers at multiple registers.
• Move around the checkout area ensuring transaction accuracy.
• Thank customers and invite them back to Lowe’s.

Customer Service

• Provide excellent customer service following Lowe's policies.
• Assist customers in locating and demonstrating merchandise.
• Respond promptly to customer and employee inquiries.
• Communicate product and service information effectively.
• Train and coach team members.
• Process transactions using a cash register.
• Handle cash and support front-end team.
• Assist with security tag removal, product verification, and bagging.
• Answer and direct phone calls.
• Open additional registers as needed.
• Help with line vesting for quicker checkout.

In-stock

• Prepare register area at shift start/end.
• Inspect returned merchandise.
• Manage customer orders and verify receipts.
• Review online orders and returns.
• Verify pricing and record store item usage.

Clean and Safe Stores

• Monitor cash drawer safety and store security.
• Assist with store security and theft prevention.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Ensure safety compliance and operate store equipment.

General

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Less than 1 year of experience with computers and retail technology.
• 1-2 years of retail cashier experience.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

Preferences:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in product sales, customer needs assessment, and warranty explanation.
• Experience as a head cashier or in a Lowe’s store.
• Supervisory experience.
• Experience in shoplifting detection.
