Essential Functions:

Assisted Self Check Out

• Monitor and identify customers needing assistance at multiple self-checkout registers
• Interact with customers to recommend products and services
• Greet, assist, and engage with customers across registers
• Move throughout the checkout area ensuring transaction accuracy
• Thank customers and invite them back to Lowe’s

Customer Service

• Provide excellent customer service according to Lowe's policies
• Assist customers in locating and demonstrating products
• Respond promptly to customer and employee questions
• Show genuine appreciation to customers
• Communicate product and warranty information
• Train and coach team members
• Process sales, returns, and refunds via cash register
• Support front-end team with supervision and support
• Handle security tags, verify product info, and bag merchandise
• Answer and direct phone calls
• Open additional registers as needed
• Assist with line vesting for quicker checkout

In-stock

• Prepare register area at shift start/end
• Inspect returned merchandise
• Process customer orders and verify receipts
• Manage online orders and returns
• Verify pricing and record store item usage

Clean and Safe Stores

• Monitor cash and security measures
• Assist with security alarms and shoplifting detection
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization
• Ensure safety standards and operate store equipment

General

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Less than 1 year computer experience
• Less than 1 year retail technology experience
• 1-2 years retail cashier experience
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds

Preferences:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in product sales, warranties, and customer needs
• Experience as a head cashier and in Lowe’s stores
• Supervisory experience
• Experience in shoplifting detection
