Job summary

Tolleson Union High School District Copper Canyon HS in Glendale, AZ invites applications for a Permanent Guest Teacher 1.0 FTE for the 2026-2027 school year. Responsibilities include supervising students, following approved lesson plans, and delivering daily instruction as needed at the school site.

Qualified candidates will hold AZ teaching certifications, possess at least 60 college credits or a BA, and have a DPS IVP fingerprint clearance.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Standard Arizona certificate, or AZ Emergency Substitute certificate, or Standard Substitute Teacher Certificate.
• Minimum of 60 college credits or a bachelor’s degree.
• Valid DPS Identity Verified Print (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students.
• Apply knowledge of school law and district policy.
• Follow lesson plans.
• Effectively utilize digital applications and software such as Microsoft Office Suite, Synergy, PowerPoint, Nearpod, Teams, etc.
