Job summary

Biltmore Estate is seeking a Housekeeping Houseperson to support room attendants and maintain guest areas to four star/diamond standards. Shift is 8:30am–5:00pm, with weekends required, averaging 35+ hours weekly.

Starting pay is $16.32/hour, with full-time benefits including health coverage, vacation, housing/childcare assistance, and wellness programs. Prior housekeeping experience and strong teamwork are valued in this role.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hotel housekeeping operations helpful.
• Commitment to guest service and anticipating needs.
• Ability to handle chemicals safely and effectively.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist room attendants with supplies and materials.
• Deliver clean linen and towels to guest floors in a timely manner.
• Remove trash and dispose of items properly.
• Clean and stock vending areas and common spaces.
• Assist with weekly cleaning projects on guest floors.
• Provide friendly, proactive service to guests and team members.
