Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to clean and maintain guest rooms to our high standards. The hotel operates 24/7, so shifts may vary and flexibility is essential to meet guest needs.

Qualifications

• Bend and reach to dust, clean and make beds and bathroom.
• Stand and walk for varying lengths of time, often long periods.
• Talk to many different kinds of people to give information, answer questions and provide required services.
• Visually inspect rooms for cleanliness and guest belongings that have been left behind.
• Use written communication skills to mark completed rooms on daily paperwork.
• Move fingers, arms and hands quickly and easily to perform cleaning duties.

Responsibilities

• Stock housekeeping cart with cleaning supplies and amenities.
• Observe knocking procedures before entering a room.
• Clean assigned guest rooms and ensure amenities are stocked.
• Mark rooms as clean for supervisor inspection.
• Report damages or hazards in guest rooms.
• Secure guest room doors after exiting.
• Maintain neat hallways and service areas.
• Return lost and found items and keys.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist other housekeeping staff as needed.
