Job summary

American Campus Communities is seeking a Groundskeeper for University View II in Prairie View, TX. This full-time role supports the property by maintaining buildings and grounds, including common areas and amenities, to preserve curb appeal and a welcoming community.

You will learn and perform general maintenance tasks, assist with make-readies, turnover, and pool maintenance as needed, while following safety guidelines and best practices.

Qualifications

• Ability to drive a golf cart and lift up to 50 lbs.
• General labor, housekeeping and cleaning tasks.
• Ability to read and follow safety rules and manuals including MSDS.
• Ability to follow written or verbal multi-step instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean interior and exterior areas to standard.
• Maintain property grounds and common areas.
• Vacuum, mop, and clean resident rooms and amenities.
• Assist service team with work orders, moving furniture, and supplies.
• Support turnover and make-ready duties, including trash outs and painting.
