Job summary

Theuniversityunion seeks a dedicated Groundskeeper to maintain the campus grounds year-round in Delafield, WI. You will operate a range of landscaping tools and perform seasonal tasks to keep walkways clean and facilities safe.

Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, safety adherence, and assisting the Facilities Department with moves, preventive maintenance, and event support. A High School diploma or equivalent and basic mechanical aptitude are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or desirable.
• Experience in groundskeeping or horticulture is preferred.
• Mechanical or electrical trade experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the appearance and safety of the grounds.
• Operate equipment such as mowers, saws, weed eaters, and hedge trimmers.
• Perform sidewalk/driveway cleaning and maintenance.
• Maintain and repair lawn equipment and report issues.
• Follow safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Assist Facilities Department tasks and campus events as needed.
