Full-Time General Maintenance Worker - 2nd Shift

Join us as a Full-Time General Maintenance Worker - 2nd Shift at Wilson Health.

Position Overview: Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, structures, pipes, and electrical systems within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and emergency repairs, including snow removal and building checks.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance as per schedules.
  • Address floor calls, replace faucet washers, troubleshoot patient beds, and perform electrical checks on equipment.
  • Assist with minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and groundskeeping tasks.
  • Support projects and prioritize patient needs with excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Operations Manager.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED; 1-3 months related experience; healthcare experience preferred.
  • Ability to work with power tools, electrical systems, plumbing, and perform minor carpentry and painting.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Physical ability to handle job demands and work in varying environments.

Work Details: Full-time, 40 hours/week, 2nd shift (2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.), with some flexibility, weekend and holiday rotation.

Reports to: Plant Operations Manager.
