Job summary

Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply in Jessup, PA is hiring a Picking and Packing Associate to support accurate and efficient order fulfillment. Responsibilities include selecting and packing inventory per order specs, maintaining stock levels, and assisting with loading/unloading deliveries.

This is a full-time role with a consistent weekday schedule. The ideal candidate is flexible, vigilant about detail, able to handle physical duties, and committed to following safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete pre-employment requirements, including a background check and drug screening.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50–75 pounds as required.
• Demonstrated history of reliable attendance and performance.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to consistently arrive on time and maintain dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently pick and pack inventory to fulfill customer orders
• Assist with inventory organization and control to maintain accurate stock levels
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of debris, properly disposing of waste and trash
• Perform all duties safely and responsibly, following OSHA standards, company policies, and established procedures
• Promptly report any unsafe conditions, hazards, or practices to management
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and overall operations
