Job summary

Visionary Innovative Technology Solutions LLC is seeking a seasoned Java/Cloud-focused developer in Irving, TX to design and build scalable applications. You will work on Java 8+/J2EE, Spring/Spring Boot, RESTful services and modern UI frameworks, with emphasis on microservices and cloud deployment on AWS.

The role requires hands-on experience in Docker/Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and DevOps tooling, plus collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design and development experience with Java 8+/J2EE, Spring, Spring-Boot, RESTful services and UI framework.
• 2+ years' experience designing and developing microservices with Spring-Boot and REST APIs.
• Strong ORM knowledge with JPA/Hibernate.
• Docker and Kubernetes proficiency.
• 2+ years with any UI framework such as Angular.
• 1+ years designing cloud-based solutions using AWS (EC2, IAM, S3, Lambda).
• Good knowledge of RDBMS/PostgreSQL.
• Strong DevOps exposure: Jenkins, Artifactory, Maven/Gradle, Git/Bitbucket.
• Solid understanding of security, transactions, monitoring and performance concepts.

Job description

• 5+ years of experience in Design and Development of applications using Java 8+/J2EE, Spring, Spring-Boot, RESTful Services and UI Framework
• 2+ years of experience in design and development of Microservice using Spring-Boot and REST API
• Strong knowledge/experience in ORM Framework - JPA / Hibernate
• Good knowledge and experience in Docker and Kubernetes
• 2+ years of experience in any one of the UI Framework - Angular
• 1+ years of experience in designing and Implementing cloud-based solutions in various AWS Services (EC2, IAM, S3, Lambda, etc)
• Good knowledge and experience in any RDBMS/PostgreSQL
• Strong experience in DevOps tool chain (Jenkins, Artifactory, Maven/Gradle, GIT/BitBucket)
• Good knowledge in technical concepts – Security, Transaction, Monitoring, Performance
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent

Nice to have:

• Experience with OAuth implementation using Ping Identity
• Familiarity with API Management (Apigee) and Service Mesh (Istio)
