Job summary

Flik Independent School Dining (FISD) in Saco, ME, is hiring a full-time Food Service Worker to prepare, present and serve meals at Thornton Academy. Typical hours are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday–Friday, with online applications accepted only.

Prior food service experience is required, and a referral bonus is available. Pay ranges from $17.50 to $18.50 per hour, with free meals and uniforms/laundering service at select locations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Ensures compliance with food safety, portion control and serving procedures.
