Qualifications

• Good communication with associates, patients, and visitors.
• Ability to read, write, and follow safety and procedure guidelines.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in preparing desserts or snacks for patients.
• Assist cook in meal preparation and tray setup.
• Carry trays to patients and assist with serving beverages.
• Clean tables and dining areas after meals.
• Prepare between-meal nourishments and make sandwiches.
• Clean kitchen areas and equipment; wash dishes and utensils.
• Record temperatures of freezers and walk-ins as required.
• Follow infection control policies and dietary restrictions.
