Job summary

Gordon Food Service Store LLC in Knoxville, TN is hiring a Full Time Food Production Associate to join our fast-paced retail kitchen. You will prepare meats, cheeses, sandwiches and wraps to delight customers.

Candidates must be 18+, able to lift 50 lbs, and capable of multitasking in a team or solo setting, with basic math and computer skills and adherence to food safety. This position offers a supportive culture, competitive benefits, and opportunities for advancement within the company.

Responsibilities

• Preparing sliced meats and cheeses, making sandwiches and wraps
• Juicing: prepare ingredients used to create beverages for customers
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
• Will fill in other areas such as stocking, cashiering or other food production areas during down times
• Use Rotisserie Oven to cook up to 3 times per day
• Utilize a broaster, to cook chicken tenders, chicken wings, or other chicken items, fish and potato wedges as needed
• Take temperatures of cooked foods and cold foods; Change oil in broasters
