Job summary

Gordon Food Service Store LLC in Florence, KY is hiring a Full Time Food Production Associate. You will prepare sliced meats and cheeses, make sandwiches and wraps, and juice beverages for customers.

You will also assist in stocking or cashiering during down times and operate rotisserie ovens and broasters as needed. Qualifications include being at least 18, capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, and delivering friendly, efficient service.

Responsibilities

• Preparing sliced meats and cheeses, making sandwiches and wraps.
• Juicing: prepare ingredients used to create beverages for customers.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Fill in other areas such as stocking, cashiering or other food production areas during down times.
• Use Rotisserie Oven to cook up to 3 times per day.
• Utilize a broaster, to cook chicken tenders, wings, or other items.
• Take temperatures of cooked foods and cold foods.
• Change oil in broasters.

Role Overview

As a Full Time Food Production Associate you bring fun into our store! No 2 days are ever the same - a great opportunity to learn and even greater opportunity for advancement!

• Preparing sliced meats (must be 18 years of age to operate meat slicer) and cheeses, making sandwiches and wraps.


• Juicing: prepare ingredients used to create beverages for customers.


• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.


• Will fill in other areas such as stocking, cashiering or other food production areas during down times.


• Use Rotisserie Oven to cook up to 3 times per day.


• Utilize a broaster, to cook chicken tenders, chicken wings, or other chicken items, fish and potato wedges as needed.


• Take temperatures of cooked foods and cold foods.


• Change oil in broasters.
