Job summary

Gordon Food Service Store LLC in Canton, OH is seeking a Full-Time Food Production Associate to join our fast-paced retail kitchen environment. You’ll slice meats and cheeses, prepare sandwiches, juices, and support other food production steps while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

You will help in stocking, cashiering or other areas as needed, and be part of a culture that values teamwork, reliability, and customer service excellence. Must be 18+ and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Able to multitask in a fast-paced retail/food environment.
• Team-oriented with a willingness to support others.
• Basic math and computer skills for transactions and inventory.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sliced meats and cheeses, make sandwiches and wraps.
• Juicing: prepare beverages for customers.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Fill in other areas such as stocking, cashiering or other food production areas during down times.
• Operate Rotisserie Oven up to 3 times per day.
• Use a broaster to cook chicken items, fish and potato wedges as needed.
• Take temperatures of cooked and cold foods.
• Change oil in broasters.

Full Time Food Production Associate

What will you do:

• Preparing sliced meats (must be 18 years of age to operate meat slicer) and cheeses, making sandwiches and wraps.
• Juicing: prepare ingredients used to create beverages for customers.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Will fill in other areas such as stocking, cashiering or other food production areas during down times.
• Use Rotisserie Oven to cook up to 3 times per day.
• Utilize a broaster, to cook chicken tenders, chicken wings, or other chicken items, fish and potato wedges as needed.
• Take temperatures of cooked foods and cold foods.
• Change oil in broasters.
