Job summary

Chartwells K12 in South Bend, IN is hiring a Food Transporter/Delivery Driver for a full-time schedule. You will deliver food and supplies to school units using a vehicle, with a 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM shift.

Requires valid state driver’s license; food handler permit where required; previous delivery experience preferred though not required. This role offers on-site work with a training-friendly environment and no night shifts or weekend work.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state driver’s license and a valid food handler’s permit where required.
• Previous delivery driving experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers food, supplies and other products to units using a vehicle.
• Loads orders onto truck with assistance of staging clerks in a safe, orderly manner.
• Unloads requisitioned materials at delivery site.
• Follows sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and equipment.
• Keeps hot and cold food items compliant with company standards and safety requirements.
• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Performs routine maintenance on truck.
