Chartwells K12 is hiring immediately for a full-time FOOD TRANSPORTER/DELIVERY DRIVER in Jacksonville, FL. The role involves delivering to schools, loading/unloading, and maintaining safety and sanitation standards. A valid driver’s license and prior delivery experience are required.

Qualifications

Must have valid state driver's license.
Valid food handler's permit where required.
Prior experience as a delivery driver is required.

Responsibilities

Delivers food, supplies and other products to units and service areas using a vehicle.
Picks up requisitioned supplies from staging clerk.
Receives production orders and inventories items to complete orders.
Loads orders onto truck with staging clerks, in a safe, orderly manner.
Unloads requisitioned materials at delivery site.
Maintains sanitation and safety guidelines for food and equipment.
Keeps hot and cold items compliant with standards and safety requirements.
Collects empty containers and defective merchandise.
Performs routine vehicle maintenance and ensures cleanliness.
