Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, part of Compass Group, seeks a Floor Technician at Prince William Medical Center in Manassas, VA. The role covers floor maintenance, restoration, and operating industrial floor care equipment.

Full-time schedule 7:00 am–3:30 pm with rotating weekends. Prior floor care experience preferred; pay range $16.50–$19.50 per hour. Benefits available for full-time staff, including health and dental coverage and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures (stripping/refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, spray buffing)
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas
• Perform carpet and upholstery care (shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming)
• Perform maintenance/restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Other duties as assigned by manager
