Job Description

Location: San Jose Clinic and Client Homes

Position Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)

We are seeking Full-Time Behavioral Technicians (BTs) to join our team at the SJ Clinic under a flexible floating model. In this role, you will:

  1. Provide services to clients in the clinic and/or at their homes, adapting to morning or afternoon cancellations.
  2. Have guaranteed evening sessions, either in the clinic or at clients' homes.
  3. Be scheduled for 40 hours per week, with guaranteed pay even if morning sessions are not scheduled.
  4. Receive training and support to achieve RBT certification if not already certified.
  5. Transition from a floating BT to a Full-Time BT as new clients are onboarded.

What your day at A.G.E.S as a Floating Behavior Technician will look like:
  1. Implementation of Behavior Plans: Implement behavior intervention plans developed by a BCBA or licensed professional to address challenging behaviors. Teach various skills such as communication, social, adaptive, and independent living skills based on individualized treatment plans.
  2. Direct Client Interaction: Work directly with clients to provide one-on-one therapy sessions aimed at teaching and reinforcing targeted skills, behaviors, and strategies. Implement crisis intervention strategies when necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
  3. Data Collection and Behavior Analysis: Accurately record and track behavioral data during sessions to analyze progress, identify trends, and adjust intervention strategies.
  4. Collaborative Support: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including BCBA, therapists, educators, and caregivers, to ensure consistent and effective implementation of behavior support plans across different environments.
  5. Professional Development: Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on best practices and new interventions within the field.
Compensation and Benefits Package:
  1. Competitive hourly pay ranging from $22-$27/hour

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  1. High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  2. ABA experience or childcare experience preferred.
  3. TB Test and Background Check clearance required.
  4. Valid driving license is essential (car required).
  5. Interest and commitment to the science of human behavior and the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
  6. Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and exercise sound judgment.
  8. Ethical delivery of ABA interventions, demonstrating a commitment to the mission and vision of A.G.E.S Learning Solutions.
