Job summary

Securitas USA is seeking a Flex Data Center Security Officer in Hillsboro, OR, to protect people, property and assets. You will patrol sites, monitor systems, manage access, and respond to emergencies on 2nd and 3rd shifts across various locations.

No experience is required, but strong customer service and the ability to work independently are essential. Competitive benefits and weekly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, and entry points to identify potential security risks.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.
• Control building access by verifying identification, checking credentials, and managing visitor logs.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, emergencies, and security incidents.
• Enforce security protocols, company rules, and regulations for premises, personnel, and visitors.
• Inspect doors, windows, gates, and security equipment to prevent unauthorized access.
• Investigate suspicious activities, behavior, and security breaches.
