Job summary

Securitas USA is hiring a Flex Security Officer to cover multiple sites in the Greater Burlington area. You will work on a flexible, rotating schedule with 8-hour shifts and possibly 4, 6, 10, or 12 hours. A valid driver’s license and ability to travel to different sites are required.

Pay is $24.00/hour with full-time hours and growth opportunities. We provide ongoing training including CPR/First Aid and access to accelerated experience through site variety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass onboarding and obtain VT Guard Card.

Responsibilities

What is a \"Flex\" Officer?

The Flex Officer is part of a highly adaptable team that reports directly to the Field Operations Supervisor, helping to fill in at various sites as needed. They learn multiple locations instead of one home site, allowing for rapid growth in the security field as they become a well-rounded, agile officer. They are provided full time hours, but do not have a \"home base\" at one site.

Pay: $24.00/hour

Schedule: FLEXIBLE, changing week to week as needed at multiple sites.

Our Flex Officers are split by their availability. We have a \"Day\" team, designated to providing coverage for 1st or 2nd shift openings. Our \"Night\" team provides coverage for shifts during the overnight hours. Our shifts are standardly 8-hour shifts, with some being 4, 6, 10, or 12 hours.
