Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of 8–13 students, helping them grow academically, emotionally, and socially.

The role starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with transition to a placed houseparent living in a dedicated student home.

Qualifications

• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Plan activities and lead devotions and Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
