Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, guidance, supervision for 8-13 students, and support academic, emotional, and social development.

Initial duties include supervising daily routines, mentoring, driving students to activities, planning development and recreational events, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for married couples (minimum two years).
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to drive student vans.
• Comfort leading devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational events.
• Leading daily devotions and attending Sunday Chapel with students.
• Oversight of budgeting and household reporting.
