Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents to reside on campus and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students.

This two-person role requires a married couple with at least two years together, ages 27+, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus. The position follows a nine consecutive days on duty, then three days off, with transition to a placed houseparent over time.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married and living on campus.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and driving certification eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and promote student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmentally appropriate events.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
