Job summary

Crown Health Care Laundry in Austell, GA seeks a Flatwork/DryFold operator to process towels, sheets, and other flatwork, running dry folding machines and preparing items for packaging. You will inspect laundered textiles for wrinkles, stains and defects, fold to specification, and sort by size and type, while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

This full-time role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with production deadlines;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate industrial laundry machinery or willingness to be trained.
• Basic understanding of textile handling and folding techniques.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor dry folding machines to process flatwork textiles efficiently and accurately.
• Inspect laundered items for quality, ensuring they are free from stains, tears, or defects before folding.
• Sort and organize flatwork items according to size, type, and customer specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the work area, including routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting minor issues.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and ensure timely completion of orders.
