Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is hiring Firefighters for a full-time role in Liberty, North Carolina. Starting at $21.00 per hour with built-in overtime, the position features 24-hour shifts (0800–0800) on a 24-on/24-off schedule and includes new in-house amenities and equipment.

Responsibilities include responding to fire, medical, and hazmat emergencies, performing inspections and safety training, and following SOPs, with qualifications such as being 18+, Fire 1 & 2, EMR/EMT, a valid driver’s license,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age and a high school diploma or GED
• Certified Fire 1 and 2
• EMR or EMT certified
• Current Driver's License
• Hazmat Operations
• Pass an NFPA 1582 physical examination

Responsibilities

• Respond to fire, medical, and hazardous materials emergencies
• Perform fire prevention inspections & safety training
• Work in a fast-paced, high-tech industrial environment
• Understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures
• Follow the Emergency Action and Communication Plans and all SOPs for emergencies
• Complete incident reports as required
• Respond to all fire/medical/security/hazmat/threat situations according to plans
• Perform routine inspections on fire alarm, fire suppression, and security equipment
• Perform daily inspections on apparatus, security vehicles, and emergency response equipment
• Patrol facilities for code violations and safety hazards
• Act as a weather spotter and monitor weather alerts
• Approve and inspect hot works and confined space permits
• Participate in daily training on emergency response
• Maintain compliance with certifications as required
• Demonstrate experience managing multiple tasks in high-pressure environments
