Carpenter

Reports to: Project Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Pay: Based on experience and skill level

M&S Development, LLC is a fast-growing construction company located in Mansfield, MA. We are primarily focused on large residential remodels, additions, and new construction throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Our objective is to provide every customer with an exceptional construction experience, from start to finish, through open and honest communication.

Primary Position

We are looking for a full-time, experienced carpenter to join our team.

Responsibilities Include

• Ability to perform rough and finish framing
• Installing interior and exterior finish trim
• Installing doors and windows
• Building stairs and landings
• Installing kitchen and bathroom cabinets
• Installing vinyl plank flooring
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Assisting supervisors with structural design, planning, layout, and installation
• Ability to assess the quality of woodwork and materials
• Understanding of local building codes and health & safety regulations
  
  

Requirements Include

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must have own basic carpentry tools
• Required to operate hand and power tools, machines, and other equipment
• Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, lifting and moving building materials and equipment, bending, standing and climbing
• Good communication skills with customers and coworkers
• Self-starter and independent worker with attention to detail
