Job summary

Mesquite ISD is seeking an Auxiliary - Custodial Head to support custodial staff and maintain a clean, safe campus environment. This full-time, non-exempt position reports to Campus/Facility Administrators and begins as soon as possible.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 3 years of custodial experience. Candidate must manage staff, track inventory, and follow MISD safety procedures. Physical duties include lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Three (3) years of custodial experience.
• Ability to read and understand cleaning instructions and MISD policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a cleaning schedule including floors, walls, restrooms, and surfaces.
• Supervise and assist custodial staff in cleaning and upkeep tasks.
• Ensure campus grounds are neat and clean and report safety concerns.
• Initiate and track maintenance work orders as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
