Job summary

Johnson Hyundai of Apex is hiring Full-Time Automotive Express/Lube Technicians. We seek a friendly, customer-focused individual to join our service team and advance within our organization.

Responsibilities include handling repair orders, diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and coordinating with parts while keeping vehicles and the shop organized. Qualifications include ASE certification preferred and a valid driver's license, plus the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• ASE Certification preferred.
• Active and valid driver license.
• Ability to remain organized and detail oriented.
• Strong communication skills with customers and team.
• Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.
• Team player with the ability to work independently.
• Flexibility to work Monday through Friday and some Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Receive repair orders from advisor or dispatcher.
• Perform work as outlined on repair order to dealership standards.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
• Communicate with parts to obtain needed parts.
• Save and tag parts when under warranty or at customer request.
• Inspect vehicles for additional safety or service needs.
• Notify advisor if extra work is not needed or cannot be completed.
• Road-test vehicles as required and follow safety guidelines.
• Attend factory training and stay updated on bulletins.
• Keep customers' cars clean and shop orderly.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
