Description
At Urgent Dental Center & Family Dentistry , our EFDAs are far more than assistants, they're essential clinical partners who help deliver comprehensive dentistry efficiently and at a high level every day.
If you enjoy staying busy, working alongside doctors who perform advanced procedures, and using the full extent of your expanded functions, you'll thrive here.
We believe patients deserve treatment today, not weeks from now. That's why our EFDAs help make same-day comprehensive care possible.
Our providers focus on full mouth and half mouth dentistry at the first appointment and our EFDAs are a critical part of making that happen. We believe dentistry should fit into our patients' lives—not disrupt them. By delivering same-day, comprehensive care whenever possible, we help patients get out of pain, restore their health, and avoid taking unnecessary time away from work and family.
You’ll work alongside doctors performing:
Full‑mouth rehabilitation
Crown and bridge procedures
Surgical and simple extractions
Root canal therapy
Large restorative cases
No two days look the same.
If you enjoy variety, efficiency, and staying productive, you’ll fit right in.
Place permanent restorations utilizing your EFDA certification
Fabricate and adjust temporary restorations
Coronal polish and apply fluoride treatments
Take digital radiographs and CBCT scans
Assist during surgical, restorative, and endodontic procedures
Prepare treatment rooms and instruments
Maintain strict sterilization and infection control standards
Educate patients on treatment and post‑operative instructions
Document procedures accurately in the clinical chart
Help maintain an efficient patient flow from start to finish
Support same‑day treatment conversions and comprehensive care
EFDA experience
Knowledge of restorative, surgical, and endodontic procedures
Strong organization and multitasking skills
Comfortable in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
Positive attitude with excellent communication skills
Passion for patient care and continuous learning
Team‑first mentality
We exist to provide urgent access to dental care everywhere.
If you're looking for a career where your skills are valued, your days move quickly, and your work makes a real difference, we'd love to meet you.
