Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Janitorial Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe environment across facilities in Bloomington, MN. This role covers routine cleaning, restroom sanitation, trash disposal, and basic surface care with a strong focus on safety and quality.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 5:00pm–1:00am with a pay rate of $21.25 per hour. ABM promotes a comprehensive benefits package and values veterans and candidates with military experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in janitorial, custodial, or cleaning roles is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing.
• Sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies and maintain hygiene standards.
• Empty trash/recycling and manage waste according to policy.
• Clean windows and glass surfaces and maintain equipment.
• Report maintenance issues or shortages to supervisor.
• Assist with setup/cleanup for meetings or events as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and sanitation protocols.

PAY: $21.25

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces

• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor

• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation
