Job summary

Challenge Unlimited is hiring a full-time janitor for Fort Leonard Wood in Saint Robert, MO. The role requires reliable transportation to access the Army base, and duties include cleaning bathrooms, offices, break rooms, and common areas while upholding safety and quality standards.

The shift is Monday through Friday, 1:30pm to 10:00pm with competitive hourly pay. Qualified candidates will pass federal/state background checks and have a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Pass federal and state background checks.
• Have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Lifting and carrying up to 45 lbs.
• Pushing and pulling up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize and restock bathrooms including sinks, toilets, glass and mirrors, stall walls, stainless steel and sweeping and mopping floors.
• Empty trash and various recyclable cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary.
• Dust and clean office areas, desks and furniture; clean windowsills and windows.
• Clean break rooms and other contract-applicable areas.
• Operate equipment safely and contribute to teamwork by helping co-workers.
• Maintain safety, quality and customer service in daily duties.
